In Dialogue Podcast

Teaching & Learning About therapy together

InDialogue takes a different approach to teaching therapy/coaching that isn't based on textbooks or traditional teaching. It considers what is needed by BIPOC clients and what skill or knowledge clinicians/healers really need when they are in session. This series of great conversations are for both beginning clinicians/coaches as well as those who are experienced and want a different way of working.

Dr Fritz and Sanaa created InDialogue when both of them wanted a new way of teaching counseling. Over the years they have done podcasts and had many unrecorded conversations about what really works in session and whether learning therapy from the “therapy industry” was the only way to learn when it didn’t reflect the experiences of our BIPOC clients (or ourselves as therapists of color)

Often, therapists are on their own to gather information and control their own development. We’re inviting cool, relevant folx into our conversations about therapy, coaching, race, relationships, and much more. We believe that we can’t know everything, but we can be in dialogue together and improve ourselves as well as the work that we endeavor to do.

Does traditional therapy require reinvention?

Is our education sufficient to make us good healers?

Are some of us naturally good at this?

Do we as BIPOC therapists need unique guidance?

What is a decolonized, inclusive practice?

Would learning something new make you a better healer, or perhaps unlearning something you’ve previously learned? Tune into our podcast!
